About Dr. Chad Prusmack, MD
Dr. Chad Prusmack, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon. He graduated magna cum laude in Biophysics from Harvard University where he was captain of the Harvard Lacrosse team. He received his MD at Columbia University where he did extensive cardiothoracic research with Dr. Mehmet Oz and graduated top of his class. At the University of Miami, he completed his neurosurgical residency and received extensive training in complex spine instrumentation, minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, and spinal cord injury. Dr. Prusmack, the neurosurgical consultant to the Denver Broncos and Ultimate Fighting, is considered a world leader in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery.
Known as "Dr. Chad", he has broad experience in all areas of the spine and skull base. In 2008, he developed and pioneered unique minimally invasive spine fusion techniques and instrumentation, which have lead to remarkable improvements in patient recoveries and are used in fusion surgeries around the world.
